I have an ADR for a party of 7 and they said we would have to sit at 2 tables. One table for 5 and one for 2 people. Has anyone done this? Were they close to each other?

We are almost always a group of 7 and without fail 99% of our reservations are for two tables.

The CM links them for us and we have yet to sit at two tables. When we check in the CM's have always worked their magic and we end up sitting together at one table.

That sounds great! Thanks for letting me know. We´ll definately keep our ADR then and hope we get as lucky :)

We had dinner there last Sept. with a party of seven and we all sat at 1 table. Granted, 3 of our party were small children, so there was plenty of room in their booths. Were you asking to be close to the aquarium? The booths are toward the back of the restaurant but you still have excellent views.

3 of our party are young kids too (one is an infant). Don´t really care where we´ll sit. I´m sure we´ll be fine :)

When you check in you can let them know you would prefer one table. You may have to wait a little while longer. We do this all the time and it works fine at most places.

BTW, we love Coral Reef - enjoy!
