Yes they do, if your album is public anyone can go to your album and BUY mugs/prints/shirts/etc... It is not just a image hosting site. I think that is the problem, Only disney can decide whoe is allowed to sell merchandise of their copyrighted characters and trademarks.

Absolutely; that's why I asked. If photobucket sells prints, then they're basically liable for selling unlicensed trademarked material, and that's a violation.

The only reason I use a similar source(not Photobucket) is to share our WDW vacation photos with far flung family and friends. If this is taken away, what possible use for these sites would there be for me??..smjj

There are many services where you can post photographs without fear of copyright and trademark concerns -- basically where there is no mechanism to purchase prints of the photographs from the service. Such services make their money from a subscription fee you pay each month, rather than from the sale of prints, like photobucket, or from banner advertising, like GeoCities.
