I remember reading on here about a downloadable program that will allow me to
transfer music that's on my iPod Touch to my iTunes library, but can't find it.
What do you use to do this? I had put music on my iPod before my computer died and now can't put them back into my music library. Or is there any easier way?

I have a mac and it can be done. I believe pull down File >add to Library but first connect your ipod if you didn't. I know it is possible.

can you not open your itouch icon in itunes (when connected) and manually drag over the songs into your main library?

Caution - if you are autosyncing, plugging in your touch will copy your library (or playlists you've selected in the past) - which I assume is empty or at least missing the songs in question back to the ipod touch. That will make those songs disappear (but you do normally get a warning asking if you are sure - it says "there are items on your iPod touch that are not in your library - are you sure..."). Now that I've written that, it may offer you the option right there to copy them back to the library at that point, I can't remember.

Go to www.ilounge.com - I believe that is their most asked question on their FAQ - you will probably see it linked right on the home page there to the instructions on how to do it safely.
