While we were buying our pictures at Shutter's, the CM gave me a website address to obtain clearance so you can make copies of your pictures. After unpacking, I can't seem to find the info she gave me. If anyone has any information regarding this, I would appreciate any help with this.

Thanks.

Kelli,

Thank you so much for the information and for your quick response!

Hey leoyellow, how was the cruise? Also, how was your flight? If I remember correctly, you had direct flights. What time did you pull out of ewr? What time was your flight back from mco?

Hi Rich (u092306),

The cruise was interesting to say the least. We had some rough weather and didn't make it to Grand Cayman, but it was nice to be away.

Our flights were great. Yes we did have direct flights for both flights and our seats were next to each other. There were three of us. We left Newark at 8:30 a.m. and got to Orlando about 11:00 or so. We had Disney Transfers so all trasportation was taken care of via Disney's shuttle. We got to the ship at about 12:15 p.m. or so. After the cruise, we left the ship at about 8:30 a.m. or so and checked our bags right at the port. We flew Continental and they have people there that check you and your bags in right there at the port. Other airlines do have their people there also to do the same thing. Can't remember which ones though. We got to the airport at about 9:30 a.m. or so and our flight was at 12:30 p.m. and we landed at about 2:45 p.m. or so. Our flight home arrived about a 1/2 hour earlier than it was supposed too, which was nice!

I hope all this info helps you. If there is any other info I can give you, let me know.

When I saw this threads title, I thought copying like I saw on my last cruise. There was a lady on the last night of the cruise who took all of her pictures out into the hallway (less crowed) put them on the floor and then took a picture of each of the pictures!! She then took the pic's back in to shutters and tossed them in to the recycling bins. Now that IS copying pictures. How much did the cruise cost vs. paying for a few more pictures? I really could not believe it:jester:

Wow, wish I would have thought of that (as tounge is firmly placed in cheek ;) !).

I went to the website that kajohn gave and I printed out a letter to take when I get the pictures made. I think the pictures that Disney takes are worth every penny! That's just my humble opinion.

I thought the same thing.. You were copying them onboard :)
AS for the prices of the photos. Sorry but I feel they are really over the top. As was mentioned in another thread I usually will take my own photos at the same time the shipboard photographer does. My digital shots using a high resolution are sometimes better but rarely any worse than taken by ship's photographer.
This from someone who's wife MUST buy every photo taken at a Sear's photo sitting cus "They're going to destroy the photos" if we don't buy them and we couldn't have that
I don't know how true it is but I've heard some people just walk off with the photos. I couldn't see any security stopping people but I'm sure it happens.
Cheers,
Grumbo

I also think their prices are high, but when they get a really good one, like they did this year with my 3 boys in suits for the first time in their lives, with perfect smiles, etc. Of course I had to buy it!

The one thing I think that company does, which is classy, is to willingly give a release at their website so that you can make copies of the pictures when you get home. I had found out about it ahead of time on this board, but it is nice to here they also tell people about it on board, if you ask.

If they hadn't had the release, I would have spent a lot more buying copies of that picture for all my family!

I did save some money though with my digital camera with the characters taking pictures myself. The CM with the characters will even take a picture for you with your own camera if you ask.

 LOL...Why didn't we think of that?! ;)
Our group could've saved $4-500!!! For real, our family reunion pix were one of the highlights of the cruise, made a neat Xmas card and was worth every penny to us. :teeth:
