Copper Creek GV availability

What is Copper Creek grand villa availability usually like at 7 months? We’d be looking at sometime in February (not Presidents week.)

Is it something pretty easy to book at 7 months (like GVs at VGF) or a little tougher (like GVs at BLT?)

Thus far, CCV GVs have been mostly available at 7 months out and most of Feb, except for Presidents week and Princess half marathon weekend at the end of Presidents week, is some of the lowest DVC demand time of the year, so chances should be very good. That is also a time when the BLT GVs are often open at 7 months out.

And to be a bit more precise, the time you might have a problem will be the Friday before Presidents Day to the Sun following Presidents day (the end of Princess half marathon weekend). Feb 1 to the Thurs before Presidents Day is the lowest DVC demand time of the year at WDW, and the time beginning after the Princess half marathon weekend through end of Feb is also a low demand time of the year.

That’s great news! Still working out date details with the crew but I’m steering the ship I’m thinking we’ll start the trip sometime within the first few days of February and head home well before the Presidents week crowds arrive.

One more question you may be able to help with ... do BWV GVs ever show up during this time? I know they don’t have very many, so I’m assuming those are typically booked well before 7 months at all times of year - is that a correct assumption? I’ve never seen one pop
up when we book at 7 months but we haven’t done the beginning of Feb. before.

There are only six BWV GV's, reducing the chances for any time of year. It has been open at times in the past for at least six to seven days in a row during the first two weeks of Feb but which days and whether it is open long enough is more or less random. On July 1, 2018, 7 months out from Feb 1, 2019, it was missing Feb 5. By July 6, it was also missing Feb 8, and then by July 9, it was missing Feb 13 and 14.

Be aware that if AKV is a consideration, the Kidani savanna view GVs have typically been open every year at 7 months out for the entire time from Feb 1 to Thurs before Presidents Day and the Jambo GV's are sometimes open for a week but those six GV's tend to follow a pattern similar to that of BWV. The VGF GV's, despite having only six, and probably because of the very high point cost, have also usually been open at 7 months out for that Feb 1 to Thurs before Presidents' Day period.

Actually there are 7 BW grand villas not 6. 5 are one story and 2 are two story.They all overlook boardwalk and are extremely difficult to book even at 11 months
