Hi!
If they resume this, which line is easier to do this on? Is it easier on the line to the resorts, or is there more availability on the one to EPCOT? Is there another tip you can give me on this?
Thanks!

Ditto, it is unlikely this privelege will be reinstated since the accident. If it is reinstated, you just have to ask, previously it was luck of the draw really on any line depending on availability of the front cab.

I don't foresee them doing this ever again due to safety issues/concerns.

I was afraid they would do away with this. I hate to hear it, as our family always enjoyed it.

Our family always did it at least once every trip. Last month was my first time to WDW since the accident and thus the first I wasn't able to... (I did ask a CM if it was allowed yet, he said no as expected.) Next trip I'll ask if they know when it will resume. I probably ought to ask a bus driver; they know everything! :thumbsup2

Even if they did bring back having the guests ride up front, (which I doubt will happen) it depends on how big the line is and if there were already others guests already sitting up front when it arrives.

I had usually been told you had to get off at the first stop after you boarded up front, so I don't think the later applies (at least that was what happened in Oct. 2008)... Then again, who knows what may change if/when it resumes!

The few times my family and I rode up front that never happened to us. The Monorail pilot asked us where we were going and that's the location where we would get off at.

I asked when I was there Sept 26th-Oct 4th and was told that they have no plans to ever let guests ride up front again.:sad1:
