I am in the process of figuring around what time we will be eating for our sit down meals/character meals as I need to call them in.. My question is that for example one day we are wanting to do Crystal Palace for breakfast with characters.. that morning there is no emh but what is the earliest we can book breakfast? My other question is that we are doing a breakfast again with characters on another day but it happens to be the same day as the am emh.. If the time is currently posted at 9 am and it is the park scheduled for emh what time can we book our breakfast with characters? anyone know?

I've done MK on a non EMH day, and did CP that day too.

MK opened at 9am, earliest CP PS was 8am. Its really great. You get into MK WAY before opening and if you get the 8am PS and eat fast but still enjoy, you can be done and at rope drop by 9am :) YAY!

Enjoy

OK. What I want to know is HOW do you get your family up and ready and travel to the park to make an 8 am PS????????? I'm lucky if I get my family there at Park Opening/???

I would love to be at the park before others can enter, but its not going to happen with us.

Places like CRT, Crystal Palace, Donald's at AK, Akershus, etc. all start breakfast ADRs at 8:05 AM whether it is an early entry day or not. We LOVE early entry because we can get so much done. It seems like a huge waste of time to sit in a restaurant for the first hour the park is open. For a 9 AM opening we like to eat at 8:05 AM. For early entry (8 AM opening) we like to eat around 10:30 or 11:00 so we can beat the crowds in the morning and still have a fun character breakfast.

It would kill me to have family members who wouldn't get up early. DH goes to work at 3 AM, so he has a terrible time sleeping late, even when he is off. DS gets up by about 6:30 on weekends (but on school days he is happy to sleep past 7 AM) and I hardly sleep AT ALL at Disney! I am usually leaping out of bed by about 5:30 AM to get in the shower. (That does not apply at home, just Disney.) If DS and DH decided to sleep in I would have to leave them in the room and go to the parks without them. They would have to call me on my cell phone when they arrived at the parks!
