Coolmax travel blanket on sale!!

Ooooh, my Coolmax Cocoon blanket came today! I'm being really ... ummm... obsessive right now ... I haven't unrolled it out of the bag cause I'm afraid I'll get it dirty. I need help. The blasted blanket will get filthy on the airplane for pity's sake and I'm worried about it picking up lint from my vacuumed carpet.

OK -- lurker coming out of the closet here. Listened to podcast with great interest to the rave review of this blanket and then when those blankets went on sale, I just had to order four of them (figured they would make great travel blankets for the kids and also great gifts for traveling friends.) They came today. Opened it up and I am loving that blanket -- so lightweight and so warm. I did have an initial moment of panic when i tried to roll the blanket back up and put it back in the sack as it arrived. No luck with that so I stuffed it back in the sack the way that you would a sleeping bag into a stuff sak. In any event, it all fit back in the pouch although now I fear that the blanket will be hopelessly wrinkled. Anyone have any luck folding it back up and fitting it in the sack? In any event, I am fighting back the urge to go order four more in different colors. The other colors looked much better in the catalog they sent with these blankets than the colors looked on my computer screen. Might just have to order an eggplant one and a tree frog one . . . Thanks for the great recommendation Kevin.

First of all....Welcome!!!! No more need to lurk

Second.....I just keep folding the blanket until it's about the size of the sack and then I roll it up. I too use the "stuff it in" method and I've not ad an issue with wrinkling.

I slept under it, on top of it, worn it as a scarf and put it over my head to make the plane darker....and still.....it looks fine.

I originally ordered a black one, but since the sale....I've ordered a brown one and a red one.

They were delivered yesterday.

I'm happy that you like them.

Again....no need to lurk anymore.

I don't have the hydro-flax but that's because I can't find it up here.

If I remember correctly you can get a 10% discount on the Hyrdro Flask by putting in a code (I think DIS)? & the good thing 5% of your purchase price goes to GKTW.

Shipping a hydroflask to Canada may prove to be costly ... and certainly more work. I would have to contact them before ordering to see how much it'll cost to ship it to me. Unlike the Coolmax blanket, I can't find a company up here that sells it.

The code does not work anymore. I need to order a second one and I tried it earlier today with no luck.
