My last Disney trip was during some warmer months and the same is true of our next one. I would love some suggestions on what gear/items you bring to stay cool?

I've seen some pretty pricey items out there and would like to avoid those if possible... what do you all suggest?

Frogg Toggs Cooling Pads were amazing. They were kind of big so we cut them down the middle in a diagonal and made two out of one. We put them around our necks and down our t-shirts a bit, kind of like a scarf.

The misting fans weren't our favorites. Just messy and didn't give much relief.

Other than that, touring early in the day or at night, hats, sunglasses and lots of water and rotating into attractions with AC.

Mine is simple and I travel over July 4th if it's a three day weekend, Memorial Day, Labor Day. I take a washcloth from home and put it in a small zipper bag. I throw that bag into my pack I take for the day (a light pack, trust me). When I get hot, I go into a bathroom, take washcloth out of zipper bag, wet it with cold water, and then wash down as much of my exposed body as I can. You can go into a stall and do more but just the cold water and the bathroom is enough. Then I pop the cloth back into the zipper bag until the next time I need it.
