Coolest Hidden Mickey!

There is also a golf course at WDW that has a green shaped like a side profile mickey. Something to look for if you ever play. You can kind of see it one one of the Travel channel shows.

Remember when MGM Studios first opened and they had the "hidden" Mickey right in front of the Chinese Theater. it was huge and you could see it on all the park maps? Ears, smile, nose etc. You can still see part of the smile when you look at the maps! This was before they built that hat (I hate it) and Hollywood Blvd. Ah the good old days!

That would be the practice green at the Bonnet Creek clubhouse (home of Eagle Pines and Ospry Ridge).

That would be the 6th hole on Disney's Magnolia golf course, it's actually a bunker sand trap. :)

If you go to http://maps.google.com/ put in "Walt Disney World Resorts Orlando FL" in the search field, and then click on "satellite" up in the right hand corner. Zoom in and you can see the satellite picture of Epcot, Magic Kingdom, and another view of this "coolest hidden mickey." (it's located just below the Magic Kingdom) ;) Click and drag on the satellite picture to see all these area's of WDW.

Oh my goodness...I've reached a whole new level of  with the saletite photographs!

I am transfixed by the technology of this. Ohh...Can I find the Poly? How about the WL?

Thanks for posting this! It is so much fun to look at.... :sunny:

hidden mickeys are probably THE COOLEST thing about WDW.
HECK YA!!! I remember a few years ago I was tired of Disney, and then I read about Hidden Mickeys and now I am a true fanatic! I can't wait to go back everytime. I have the Hidden Mickeys book, and the WDW trivia book. I can't wait to get the Imagineering Guide to MK! I want to print up a small memo book with all the hidden mickeys and interesting facts of all the rides. I LOVE DISNEY!!

What an awesome thread! :hyper: The one at MGM is so cool. I think the imagineers must have looked at a lot of clouds growing up.

Actually, its the Walt Disney World Speedway. The Be-Petty school is there :) I will be there this summer. I won a race experience. So I combo'd it with my celebration trip win. Yeah, Yeah, I am a sweeping junkie more then a Dis Junkie.

Much to my suprise, the speedway right near the main parking area for the trasportation center. A short ride from the Poly. I have heard that some people complain at the Poly due to the noise.
