We always bring a small cooler in with us for drinks at the other parks. But AK is always our half day park, and we never bother, as we don't plan to be there that long. We're going back in May and on this trip plan to park hop from AK back to MK to finish up what we didn't finish the day before. We would like to take the cooler with us this time, but I remember a post awhile back about coolers not being allowed in AK due to the animals. This does make sense, but I'm wondering if this information is accurate or not. Have anyone of you ever taken a cooler into AK?

We have a cooler that has a strap on it that fits over the back of a stroller. It can hold about 12 cans of soda, plus a few water bottles on their sides.
Have never had a problem taking it in. They will ask you to open it and show the insides. And they will not allow any glass bottles in to the parks.

Perfect, thanks!! Yes, ours is small too. And we've never had a problem in the other parks, just never tried it at AK. I know our local zoo will not allow you to bring in any outside food or drinks, so I figured it may be likely that AK wouldn't either. Good to hear that we shouldn't have a problem. Just didn't want to show up at the gate with the cooler and have to figure out what to do with it while we were at the park.
