Has anyone tried to take a cooler in the gates of Disney and lock it in a locker? I don't remember...last time we went we weren't as budget minded and just paid for the food in the park (don't want to do that again)... if any of you have suggestions for a way to feed 6 people in the parks...I'm all ears.

Last week I saw a family eating lunch from their large six-pack coolers. Sandwiches, drinks, chips. Security didn't question any of the food we brought into the parks.

Thank you for the info....How did you bring your food in? Was it in a cooler? Was the family inside the park at the entrance or were they just sitting throughout the park eating? I just don't want to buy the stuff pack it and then not be able to use it...but it sure beats the prices inside..

we always brought a small cooler in with us last time we went and never had any problems with security. We mostly brought juice boxes, water and snacks with us, not lunches and our cooler was pretty small (maybe a six pack size). We usually left it in the basket under the stroller, although we did have to open it up for security each day when we entered the parks. Nobody ever mentioned it. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to bring one with you and put it in a locker until you are ready to eat as long as it's not overly huge and can actually fit in the locker!
