Cooler temps

We are arriving Friday...I'll take the 60 temps...as long as the rain stays away!!! Hope y'all have a magical trip!

if it makes you feel any better we were there in late January (this year) and one day was "the coldest this winter" - oh lucky us!!! I would have preferred warmer days too but it did warm up and by the end of the trip we were in shorts and t-shirts!

We arrive Friday and I am not super pleased either. We go in November or February most years and this will be our coldest trip in the last 8 years. We are bringing hats and gloves along with warm coats. I plan on renting a locker for them when we get there and retrieving as needed. I am just hoping for no rain. Cold I can do. Cold and wet, not so much.

Don't get too bummed out. I'm going next week too and checked the weather a couple days ago. It was looking like highs in the upper 60's/lower 70's almost all week. Now it looks like in the low to mid 60's each day but no rain. I'll bet you lunch that it changes again before we get there. I'm not hopeful for highs around 80, but I'm jazzed that we aren't looking at highs around 45 with 15mph winds!

nothing is concrete beyond 3 days. Could be much warmer, or even cooler.

The gulf weather is too unpredictable to accurately forecast beyond 3 days. The further out they go, they rely more and more on historical data mixed with what ever models they have.

I know that a cold day at Disney is still better than a warm day anywhere else, but I'm getting a little bummed about the 60 degree high temps I'm seeing for our trip next week. Would anyone like to cheer me up about that? It'll still be awesome and nice not to be sweating through our clothes, right?

Okay, to cheer you up, be glad you weren't there a week and a half ago when my family went. Highs were supposed to be in the mid-50's, but the wind-chill factor from heavy winds put the "felt temperature" in the 30's...on our Magic Kingdom day...the day of evening parade and fireworks...and boat ride to Hoop Dee Doo...you get the picture.

The next weekend (after we got home) was balmy in Orlando. :headache: Hope that makes you feel better about your 60 degree highs- we would have loved 60 degrees. I for one am never doing mid-winter at Disney again. Shivering all day just doesn't feel magical to me. (A little sweating's okay, as long as I have a resort pool or water park to swim in.)

I'm a little bummed too but we're still bringing shorts. Looks like we'll have 2 70 degree days so we're hoping to swim on those days.
