cooler available on board

Has anyone here ever purchased the soft-sided cooler that's available for purchse onboard? If so, what was the cost and did it contain water or soft drinks. I'm thinking about the one that's usually offered before excursions.

we purchsed a small tote sized cooler on CC,blue with DCL and the logo on it. It came with 3 bottles of water and 4 cans of soda. You can fill it with your choice of beverages. We paid 15.00 for it filled.

Not a problem!!!

It held the ice really well considering it was in the sun on CC.

I got a bucket at CC when I ordered 5 beers and get one free!! Then I took it to the stateroom and our room attendant kept fresh ice in it.........

We bought one of these on the West Coast a few weeks back. We got it and 6 bottles of water for $15. They'll even re-fill it with ice for you over the rest of your cruise if you want them to. Great deal!

Okay, so now I'm feeling even better about the cooler. It will even hold ice? Usually, those soft coolers will not hold ice, meaning they will leak at the seams. I'm definitely buying one. I had thought about taking one in a suitcase, but for $15 including beverages, sounds like a great souvenier at a great price.

We bought our's in May for $10.00 in the gift shop, empty. We had our room steward fill it with ice. The first day we used it, it did leak a little, so the next day we just put the ice in a zip lock bag. I was glad we bought it - it worked out great!

Last October, the soft cooler with liner, 6 bottles of water and ice, was $10. It leaks bad without the liner. Good lunch carrier when used with cold packs though.

I didn't even know the coolers existed. I asked one of the CM's walking around about the bucket of waters and sodas and he showed me the cooler. So I bought ours while we were on the beach.

Umtrep....our last sailing was a 2 CC stop. The first and last day.....I keep forgetting .
Pjd....3.75x5=18.50 including gratuity and you get 6.

On our 03 sailing I took a cooler from home, the collapsable kind....mine is a NASCAR cooler it holds about 10 cans. I think Walgrees sells them for about 8 bucks.

I'd say if you ask around, you could find them b4 CC. But thats when it was offered to us, getting off the ship to go to CC.
