an interesting note but many historians think this could be one of the oldest songs that has been handed down in history in one form or another.

This is just GBS's version there are many.

It is one of my favourites, too. We've all been trying to talk the Boys into doing a Christmas album but ONE of them thinks it signals the death knoll for a band We keep begging anyway. They have to listen some day dont they?

I would disagree--see Barenaked for the Holidays (yet another favorite bunch of Canadians of mine) I listen to that CD from Thanksgiving until DH makes me put it away some time after Epiphanny. I would LOVE a GBS Christmas collection. Add me to the list of voices!!!!
