The newer keys/tickets have 'not valid for charging' on them - does this mean that you are no longer able to charge stuff to your room key (merchandise, food, etc.)? I was under the impression that you could.

That is on the keys if you choose not to have charging privilages added to your room. If you ask to add a credit card to your room, they will let you no problem.
