I know the kids are going to love this trip anyway, but we are doing a few extra things to make it even more special.
I have read that souveniers are on the expensive side, so I ordered from the Disney store online when they had a sale. Instead of carrying them around with us in the parks. I think that I'm going to wrap them up (with a gift tag from Mickey, Minnie, Tinkerbell, etc.) and set them on the bed for the kids to find when we return to the hotel room at night. I'm hoping this will make it exciting to go back to the room so we can avoid meltdowns leaving the park.
A friend also told be a neat trick for keeping the kids occupied in line (mine are 1 and 4). String cereal onto dental floss and make necklaces for them to eat.
I'm also making Princess Hair/wig hats for the girls so they can be cute and warm.
What are some of the fun things that you do to make it even more magical for the kids?
