Cool DVC extra for Magic Band

Am I the only person that thinks these are uncomfortable and less. Than attractive?.

Nope! I'm right there with you. The magic band is bulky enough. Plus I don't feel the need to let every park guest know I'm a dvc member. That's my little secret.

We had them shipped with our MB for our stay in June 2014. They have been around for a while.

I use the sliders as extra security for my kids MB's. I slide them over where the band latches so that the bands don't come off.

We got these for our trip last July '14. I was bummed because I really wanted the AP sliders and then found out we can't get them at the parks... So we have another trip planned for this June and I was in MDE and I clicked on the AP MB "link" and I think it's started the process of ordering new magic bands that will most likely come with the AP sliders?? Anyone know if that's correct? We still have our current MB's and they show up in MDE, but since I clicked this link are they going to ship us new ones? I just want the sliders.. lol

We did not get them for our August trip. The Magic Bands came with our Annual Pass sliders, but no DVC ones. I asked at the desk and showed them my membership card and received one for all of us (3). Then for our Christmas trip we received both Annual Pass and DVC sliders. We renewed our APS during our Christmas trip and I asked about new AP sliders, but they said they would be shipped with new Magic Bands for our next trip. I would think it would be easier to just give them out when you buy the APS, but that's not how they were doing it, as least for us. Just wanted to add my 2 cents and tell about our experiences.

Due to timing of renewing our APs, we got 2014 Passholder sliders with our new MBs for APs that started in Jan. 2015. When we arrived on Feb. 4 we went to GR to activate our APs and got 2015 sliders.

We got ours when we got our MBs for our stay at VWL in May and have worn them proudly ever since

We got our AP sliders with our bands for our annual passes and the DVC member sliders too. I loved wearing them together on our last 2 trips (Oct 14 and Jan 15). Our APs expired in January and I know I should take them off but I just like having them there and the memory of being AP holders. We won't be doing APs again for a while as we are cutting back on trips to build up our points, but I hate to take them off...is there a rule that says we "have to"?
