Has anyone done the Cool Dude experience at the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique? DS will be almost 4 when we go, so I was wondering if this was something he would like? Opinions?? Thank you! :listen:

When we took DD to the Boutique in May DS was 3 and they asked if he wanted to get his hair done. We looked at the book that had a bunch of pics with all the things they could do. There's colored hairgel, Mickey icons they put, glitter. DS wanted no part of it. Personally because the boutique is so girly and geared towards girls we liked the barber shop in the MK better. Also he was able to get his hair cut, not only a style. they have the colored hairgel and stuff there too. JMHO

Here's a link with info on the barber shop:

Ditto to the above poster. I made an appointment for DS4 at the same time as DS6 so he wouldn't feel left out. He flat out refused, even after showing him the pictures and the fairy godmothers trying to talk him into it! I was so sure he would love the hair gel and tatoos. Oh well!

I saw boys refusing to go on the salon when we were there. Can't say I blame them as it looks VERY girly! I really think it is a girl thing and wouldn't take my DS there.

Thank you for the advice!! I think we'll go to the MK Barber Shop instead!

Our two boys 3 (almost 4) and 7 did this in Aug while their sister was becoming a "Disney Diva." They were at first put off by the girly boutique. After some coaxing form us and the fairy godmothers (the little guy was easier to convince), they both did it and loved it. The fairy godmother was great with them and made it as non-girly as possible (black cape, talked ot them about typical boy stuff).
It wasn't so much the actual experience in the boutique that they loved, but the extra attention they got from eveyone (CMs, characters, and other guests) throughout the rest of the day. If I just had the boys I definately would have gone to Main Street Barber Shop instead, but with the three of them it made more sense to have them all done at BBB.
