Cool down ideas at MK

For the first time, we will be staying in park from rope drop to fireworks for our upcoming late Aug trip - we have always returned to our room midday to rest and cool down. I'm looking for suggestions as to ways to cool down and rest IN park - any ideas? We are planning on Mickey's Philharmagic midday, Monster's Inc Laugh Floor - looking for ideas like that. Carousel of Progress is a nice long cool down. Our son always napped in COP when he was a lil 'un.

If you can do a TS lunch on that day, it will help recharge/refuel everyone as well. The Plaza and Liberty Tree Tavern are both inexpensive TS lunches.

People Mover and you can easily grab a quick nap as well!

Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, Pirates, and Splash Mountain are my favorites.

THe People Mover! It's about 14 mins long, winds around the park and is just relaxing. If it's not too busy you can take a few rides around. Also, the Liberty Bell boat although, if it's hot, it's not much of a cool down.

You can also find a shady area to relax over at Tom Sawyer Island. You can go to Dumbo, get the pager thingy and just hang inside the tent for a while.

Carousel of Progress, Hall of Presidents, Tiki Room, all are relaxing, cool spots.

The ultimate relaxing cool spot in the World though, Ellen's Energy Adventure over at Epcot. 30+ minutes of sitting around in large cool rooms.
