What cookbook can't you live without?

I love my Fix It and Forget It cookbook for crockpots. :thumbsup2

What about you?

BBQ PDQ. It's only rubs, marinades, sauces, brush-on's and salsas to use with meat or fish. Hundreds of different ways to do meat. :thumbsup2 And it even tells if the recipe is good for beef, chicken, pork, seafood, etc.

my entire martha stewart collection. But if I had to narrow it down to just one it would be the baking one.

I have tons of cookbooks....but it seems I just like looking at the pictures and hoping someone else will prepare the meal for me.

I don't think I could make it with just one. It would have to be my BH&G red plaid cookbook (and not one of the newer versions - I want MY edition). but I also need the church cookbook and my country French cookbook, and all the recipes handed down from mom/grandmas.

I have a collection of Taste of Home cookbooks that I love. I also love my collection of Hawaiian cookbooks and Saving Dinner, too. Yup, I can't just pick one because they all have good recipes.

I may need to get those first two mentioned. I don't use my crockpot nearly enough and I love sauces and marinades.

I guess you could say that I couldn't live without my Pampered Chef cookbooks since I am a consultant and need to use them when I do an in-home show.

I'm a collector of cookbooks! :)

There isn't just ONE I couldn't live without...but I'd definitely have to say that there isn't a way I could live without my Rick Bayless cookbook collection.

I have about 60 or so ......have given alot away.....but my most favorite ones are the ones from churches and credit unions and other groups that get together and publish home tried and true cook books......but my favorite from a company is the American bed and breakfast and inns......what a collection from all over the US......love those

The one I really couldn't live without is the family cookbook I've put together out of recipe cards and slips of paper. My dad was a fantastic cook and my mom still is--I couldn't get along without all of those tried and true family favorites from my parents and grandmothers and aunties.

The one that you all could purchase that I can't live without is The Readers Digest Down Home Cooking. It lists lower fat recipes of usually fattening comfort food.

My favorites are the "Company's Coming" cookbook series. Very easy to read and most recipes have pictures. Very tasty recipes

This has been my favorite, since I bought it in February. Just gave my niece one~as she just had triplets.

The basic premise of this cookbook is the "meal preparation" concept, similar to the meal prepartion companies, where you would go and assemble 10 or so meals, take them home and freeze, then thaw, then cook.

The Warehouse Gourmet Cookbook

365 Meals: No Repeats and Express Lane Meals by Rachael Ray.

I can't live without the recipe books my middle sister made for us all when my mom died of all her recipes.

Also can't live without my Southern Living cookbooks and Paula Deen cookbooks. Love them all!!

Mine is Calling All Cooks. It was made by different people who work for the phone company in Alabama. Hands down the best southern cooking cookbook. Of course mine is in about a million pieces from use  :teeth:
