Convincing your parents...?

Hey guys, haven't been on in a loooooong time! Anyways, I was wondering if any of you guys have had to convince your parents to do something, like take a trip. (I'm guessing you have) So I was wondering how to do it. I really want to go on a cruise, but neither or my parents really want to do it. My mom says 7 days on a boat is to long and to boring and that she wants adventure, and my dad doesn't really have an opinion.
So I was wondering if you guys had any ideas to convince them that a cruise would be fun and that they'd actually like it. (We went on one 4 years ago BTW)

You can always look up what they say on the message boards about the cruise and show her how much fun other people have. You need to Research what there is to do, sit down you parents and show them... that is the best thing you can do... i mean if they dont do it then... you have done your best.


btw i really dont need to try and convince my parents... they went on a 3 day and loved it then took us back for a 7 day cruise.

Thanks. Yeah, that's kinda what I've been doing, but both of my parents are sick of hearing about cruises. lol So I think I'll lay off for a while and research some more and come back full force! lol

you also dont have to go on a 7 day cruise u can go for like a three day that way you get to go on the cruise and ur parents dont have to be on the boat for a long period of time.

Doesn't Disney have a free cruise video? I'm not 100%, but check the website...Maybe slip it in the VCR when they're not paying attention If they don't-look out on the travel channel, they run a special on it every once in a while!
