I'm heading down to the world the middle of August and staying at POP. I am so excited about it but I'm having trouble convincing a friend of mine of its virtues.

I usually stay at a Moderate but wanted to give the values a try.

A friend of mine wants to take her daughter to the world for the first time and her budget will only allow for a value but she's afraid POP is too "cheesey". Any suggestions of sites I can have her check to help encourage her to give it a shot?

I've mentioned the boards obviously, and allearsnet.com. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Definitely let her know that the POP has its own bus whereas the all star resorts share. That was definitely a selling feature for us! Enjoy!!

I think once she arrives at POP and sees the twinkle in her child's eyes from the Pixie Dust she will begin to feel the Disney Magic and all will go well. Keep us posted. I for one have not stayed there either, but surely DISNEY MAGIC is EVERYWHERE!!

Depending on the age of her child, I think kids relate more to the icons at ASMO then to a lot of the POP icons. I know our DD likes the icons at ASMO a lot better then POP's. But it sounds like it's your friend that does not like the giant icons and if that is the case then really the only value for her would be ASMU.

We love POP!! :) Some friends of ours stay there everytime they go (yearly) and they are in their 60's! The pool is great and the rooms are very, very nice!! I'm sure you'll all love it!!!
