I agree with those who argue that if you do not do it off season or get a deal, prices are simply insane. As awesome as DCL is, most summer and school holiday time prices are simply not worth it.

Since you are in FL and don't have to fly in, what about just a 3 night? You would only have to miss two days of school. You could even plan around MLK, president's day or veterans day. Those are school holidays, but should not be priced as holidays with DCL, then you would only miss one day.
