Convince Me

Can anyone say anything to convince me to take a day out of my Disney World vacation to go to Sea World? It will be an additional $250 for us to go. Or cheaper if anyone can give me a code. I have a DD12 and a DS 9. Any takers?????????????

I'm a zookeeper and I LOVE visiting zoos and LOVE Sea World. However, I also love getting off the plane in Orlando and using Disney transportation the entire trip. Our past 3 family trips we've skipped Sea World to just stay at Disney. My son loves sharks and fish so next trip to Orlando will include many fewer days at Disney and we'll go to Sea World, the beach and hopefully the zoo in Tampa.

Sea World is wonderful. If you or your kids really love animals it's a great time. If you don't have a strong opinion about going, skip it. You'll get to see dolphins, manatees and zillions of fish at The Seas at Epcot. Just my opinion...

We don't always do the "other side of Orlando" on our trips to Disney, but the last few years, we have been including Sea World. We've had such a good time, that we've gone the last three summers! This past July, we not only did Sea World, but we also did Discovery Cove. It was amazing! We had the best time ever! Swimming with the dolphins was oh so cool!!!

We loved seeing Shamu and the sea lions - especially the "preshow", but the show my DD loved the most was "Pets Ahoy". They have many different animals (that they've gotten from animal shelters) and they put on this little show doing all sorts of tricks. It really is a cute show!

If your family likes animals, especially sea animals - you would really have a good time at Sea World!

If you have never been to SeaWorld and won't be back for a while, my suggestion is that you don't miss this opportunity.

There is so much to see and do there. And sitting mere feet from a killer whale is amazing!

I think your children will love it, especially at their age.

We're skipping SeaWorld on our next trip because our children will be so young. But it is killing me to miss it. I'm hoping to go back next year, so we'll go then.

If you have never been to Sea World, it would definitely be worth a trip to see it. I have been there a few times and would definitely go back again. When my DD(3) is a little older, I would definitely take her. Although I think that she would love it now, I think I will wait.

I definitely agree with the above poster about the fact that I too love to get off of the plane and use Disney Transportation the whole time, but it is a must see at some point in your life.

We love Sea World. We have been there 3 times on our Florida trips. Our last trip was the first time we didn't go but that was just because flew instead of driving and used the Disney transportation the whole time. I think we will go again next year because we plan on driving again.

I think you should be able to find some discounts. I know in years past we have never paid full price.

I agree!! We went a few years ago in Nov/Dec and about half the attractions were closed. Definitely not worth $250, imho.

We just went and it was great. I would go at least once.
