Convince me I'll enjoy breakfast at CP?

I just booked a breakfast ressie at CP even though I am not a Pooh fan (sorry, no flames please, I'm just not). DD really isn't either, but she loves ANY character and will be excited to see the Pooh gang, especially Tigger.

Is this a good use of one of my TS credits? It's a short trip for DD5 and I and I got a ressie for 8:30AM, so it's before MK even opens which I like. Make me OK with my decision please. Is the food worth it?

I guess that would depend on what the alternative would be?

I'd rather do, say, Chef Mickey than Crystal Palace, although I like both.

However, in general, I would not use a TS credit for a breakfast, simply because dinners cost more and I feel like I am getting more from my money by doing a dinner.

I hear ya on breakfast vs. dinner, but DD and I are both better breakfast eaters than dinner....and, I chose CP over Chef only because it gets me into MK before the 9:00 Am opening.

I thought the food was good.,my mom and I went to both breakfast and dinner. The character interactions were good and I think it is worth it considering you don't normally see Eeyore and Piglet walking around. Besides being one of the first people in the park is awesome!!!!

We have always eaten at CP for breakfast - this is one of our favorites! We think the food is very good. It's standard breakfast buffet items, but unlike other buffets, CP has puffed french toast - which we always look forward to on our trips. Also, we always get the earliest adr possible on a non-emh day at MK so we get to walk down an empty main street, which also makes for good pics in front of the castle.

We enjoy it. And I think it is worth it to see the characters.

Have a magical time. (i really really think you will) ;)

My DH took DD#2 there on our last trip. I took DD#1 to AK to ride EE and she ended up chickening out.

It is the one place he requested to eat this time....breakfast at CP. He said it was good food and that DD loved the character interaction. He said they spent lots of time at each table.

We have enjoyed CP for years. They have a nice variety. My kids are teens now and we really don't need to see Pooh anymore but it is a nice with good food if you like breakfast. We would also choose dinner over breakfast but your making a good choice!! Enjoy!

we ate at CP & Hollywood vine for breakfast on our last trip (may 08) with our 15 month old and I cant say enough about the two of these places... (for breakfast)... We really enjoyed them. The service was great, the food was very good & the characters were wonderful. Even though your not into pooh and the gang they are very interactive & playful. I think its a great start to a MK morning...

Here is a pic of my favorite things there...(you have to ask the chef to make them)

it's worth going for the puffed french toast alone!!!! yum!!! plus when you get the early ADR it's fun to be in the park before the rest of the crowds come in.

We go to CP every year for breakfast, and it has always been good. You have a great time in the morning to be there also.

Enjoy!!!!!!:thumbsup2

We live Cp for breakfast more than dinner. The food is good and who doesn't want to see Tigger?!! :tigger:

We just ate there about a week ago. The food was good. We will be going back on our next trip. The character interaction was just ok. A little rushed, but all in all a good use of our credits with little ones who enjoy the characters.

My family loves CP for breakfast! We are big breakfast eaters and we really enjoy the whole buffet! My personal favorite is the cheesy potatoes ... mmmmmm. Makes me smile just thinking about them! And we always have great character interaction. I even get my photo with the characters too! Why not? Last time I wore my Pooh tshirt and Pooh commented on it and I got a kiss!
