Oh, and when traveling as a group, one thing that has worked for us is to look at excursions/rides/attractions separately (not sure of all the ages going, so there may be some logistical stuff or some parents having to suck it up, lol) and then compare. Try and have everyone come up with their top 3.
When we did the med, there were 9 of us. We sometimes went all together. Sometimes in 2 groups, sometimes, in 5 groups. No one had to be a travel guide, and this way, we all got to do what we wanted. Also, no hard feelings this way if it is discussed at the first, we will eat dinner together, but the rest of day is on our own, unless we have same wants. It worked out well and gave each of us the autonomy that we wanted. Of course, we were all adults, so could go on our own if we wanted. Also worked for us in the parks, for a group of 4, 2 would go ride the rides, 2 of us would do whatever we wanted, and had a meet up spot.
