converting clothing sizes?

Does anyone know what size in kids a xxsmall or xsmall would be in adult? I was thinking of shopping at Aero for my two dd's who wear a size 10 in kids and didn't want to go in if they wouldn't fit. I know that the clearance there right now is probably really good and those small sizes are even better. I also need jeans for them super bad. Will they fit? Thanks for the help.

What size jeans fit your kids right now? If, for example, you know their size in Gap, Old Navy, Justice, etc., you can check the size charts online, and then check the Aero size charts to see if there is a comparable size. For example, my daughter wears a 16.5 jean at Justice, and at Aeropostale she wears a size 10 Short.

Aeropostale shirts are very narrow for the most part. The women's tops tend to have pretty deep and/or wide necklines that can show a lot of skin. Keep in mind that they may need to wear a cami.

My DD is 9 and wears about an 8 Slim in Pants and I usually get her a size 10 in tops. She wears alot of Aero shirts. Mostly XS and some Smalls. The jeans however, are huge and it is going to be a few more years at least til she can fit into those. (Even the size 0's).

there's any way the jeans would fit. My DD wears Old Navy 16s and the Aero jeans are long on her. She is 5'3" and wears and Aero 3/4 short, which are still a tad long.

As for shirts I think you just need to just go check them out. They are very tight. (Seems to me that an XS looks to be about a 4T, but that's how the kids like them.) I have only let her purchase size L even if they are long, because that's when I felt they were not too tight.. and she's skinny at about 95lbs. And as a PP said.. some of the clothes don't fit her right 'cause she doesn't have the proper figure yet.

I have yet to pay more than $15 for a sweatshirt or jeans and $7 for a shirt, so don't overspend. They run a lot of really good sales. Make sure you are on their e-mail list too.
