Converting a "lap only" seatbelt into a shoulder harness belt?

Call your car dealer parts department and they will look into if any such thing exists. If a part was not developed for the car--I would not sue it personally. I've never heard of an aftermarket conversion kit.

THANK YOU! That is a great idea. Yes, it is for a child. He is in a booster seat with a "front" on it right now. I am not too thrilled about that. I am scared of internal injuries.

Anybody else have any ideas?
