Conversation Overheard During A Call To Disney

I was just on the phone with Disney changing some tee times for our upcoming trip and I could hear another CM on the phone with another customer. I heard the CM squeal, "You won the Florida lottery? Wow! That is great" I guess someone was booking a trip after winning the lottery. I know that is the first thing I would do if I ever won. I would book for a month! I also heard the CM tell the customer to be sure to look her up so she could touch her hand and maybe some of her luck would rub off on her. Cool huh?

Only a month??!! I would be on the phone so quick booking a Poly LVC for at least 3 months!!

I'd just be booking the trip to spend a few days onsite while contacting a real estate agent to get me a condo nearby. I couldn't leave my cats alone for months and would need them nearby and safe but I could come home with a big MOUSE grin every night to feed them! Oh .... DH could come too .... but unless he was with me (in the parks), he'd only see the big MOUSE grin every night when I come home to feed him.

Yep, I'm with ya. I would pay off my existing DVC and then buy more.

First, I would a buy new houses (above sea level of course) for friends and family members (including myself) who lost everything in Hurricane Katrina & Rita. Wherever they wanted live, I would try to accommodate them if possible ... but definitely ABOVE sea level ...lol.

Then book a trip to WDW @ BWV, BCV or VWL ... what the heck... we would stay at all of them... and stay for a lenghty period of time. DW and I would bring my folks and the outlaws...I mean in laws ( ). I would book the Richard Petty Experience a number of times, Seqway tours, every behind the scenes & regular tours available, tee times @ all the courses on property, spa & massages at least three times a week for everyone... as far as dining, we would eat well but in moderation ..... however, I could see most of us in the group touring World Showcase at night and sampling the "beverages" from different countries.

Wow! I guess I would have to win the California lottery but then I would be on the Contemporary 14th floor for about a month!

My dh and I have already discussed that if we win the Mega Millions lottery, we're staying a month at WDW. Half the month in a deluxe conceirge suite at the Dolphin, and half the time at the same degree of luxery suite at Poly.

I would treat my mother to 2 weeks at AKL in the vice presidential suite. I just like it better than the presidential. I don't know what my dh and ds would like if the sky was the limit. Dh would go buy a boat and I'd never see him again (or at least I'd wish I didn't, he'd always smell like bait, trout fishermen, can't live without them, can't stand the smell of their waders in your garage).

But if I did....We would Resort Hop, 1 week at each of the monorail resorts!
All Presidential suites!!!!
And I would actually Buy bottled water onsite!!!!!

Oh my gosh it is so nice to dream about this!
I'm talking...Limo over to Dis.
Presidential suite in each Deluxe Resort for a month at each.
Would I get tired of this? Hmmm, I wonder.
I'm willing to find out!


I want pampered. I've never been pampered in my life.
I want foot rubs after walking at Disney all day long,
I want a Mickey Ice Cream bar whenever I feel like it,
I'd get that DVC, lots of it and have the time of my life with my DH and kids!
And ofcourse, I'd take care of my family, friends and church.

I love this thread.

If I won I would certainly be spending quality time in the Disney World resort. There are so many things I would love to see and do still. The first thing would be a family gathering for a few weeks. I own a house in the area, but I've always dreamed of staying for a week at the Contemporary while my family is at the Grand Floridian, and some of them at the Wilderness Lodge.

After I've gotten the thrill of winning out of the way, I would set aside a certain amount each year to send less fortunate people and children to WDW so they could enjoy the magic too.

Okay, I know if you won the lottery, cost wouldn't actually matter - but you could probably get a better deal on the cruise by doing back-to-backs.
