Conventions?

Is there a web site that lists all the conventions that are going on in WDW? I would love to find a convention that is work-related for me so that I could have a mini vacation. Any suggestions?

No. For the guests' security they don't release any centralized information about what conventions are taking place. You can do a search, like on Google, using words like convention, meeting, Disney, the particular resorts etc. and see what comes up. Adding dates/months will help find conventions that are taking place while you are there. You get the information from the folks holding the meeting. For example, if the Lumberjack Association is holding their worldwide conference at the Beach Club the info will be on the Lumberjack Association's web site.

To find conventions that might be related to your work, search on any organizations or associations that might make sense. Look for groups in your industry -- travel, computer industry, accountants, morticians, whatever -- sooner or later everyone holds a meeting at WDW, or at least the Orlando Convention Center which will get you close enough.

I know of one being held at the Rosen Plaza Hotel in July, the B.E.E. Convention will be there July 16,17 & 18.
