Conventions where and when??

Hello: We'll be at Coronado Springs Oct 13 to Oct. 23. Does anyone know if any, or what conventions will be at that resort during that time? I'd hate to be registered there during the National Pass Gas Conventions -- just kidding, Thanks

Just a little food for thought regarding conventions, cheer groups, etc....

While there IS potential for additional noise and annoyances, haven't we all been subjected to some sort of annoying people, children, animals, whatever (!) at one time or other on vacations? And not necesarily at Disney but wherever there are masses of people....and that would be at any popular vacation spot.

My point is that yes, there CAN be annoyances with these larger groups but personally, we've had more annoyances with individuals who were totally unrelated to a group! And we somehow just overlooked it and focused on our family vacation.

Just a thought....

Hello: Really wasn't implying anything, just wanted to know if there were any conventions there while we were there. Who knows, I may want to join in on some of the events, just kidding. We've stayed many times at the Swan and there has always been a convention running. I found it interesting to read some of their seminar topics and information. I'm a friendly person and may want to bone-up on their area in order to carry on an intelligent conversation in the hot tub or pool. Thanks from a life-long learner.

As for conventions, Coronado Springs always has a lot of conventions going on. The conventioneers pretty much keep to themselves. I was there during Hurricane Charley and the resort was full with people looking to escape the storm. What it really comes down to is who you are rooming beside. We unfortunately had a family beside us that thought it was ok to let their kid slam the door all day long. He would literally go out at 7am and be in and out all morning. "Knock, knock, knock...SLAM....Knock Knock Knock SLAM." Drove us nuts. He also took to rubbing the fog away from our window and would peer in. Very annoying.

I'd take the national passing gas convention any day over that! LOL. At least they would have meetings to attend!
