Is California a good place for a convention? Any good places in Southern California?

Southern California is one of the most popular convention destinations in the USA. San Diego, Anaheim, and Los Angeles all have extensive convention facilities and hotel capacity for thousands.

Well, the Anaheim Convention Center is the largest in the state. There are large convention centers all over, from Oakland to San Diego. San Diego does Comic-Con every year. The Anaheim Convention Center does a lot of Disney events including major announcements and the D23 Expo.
