I think service dogs are still able to stay anywhere.I think the reason they continued this was to make sure the non-dog resorts stay that way. If you don’t want a bed that a dog may have slept in, then don’t stay at the selected resorts. There are only 4 resorts where dogs can stay. Prior to this policy, if you had a service animal, you could stay at any resort with that animal.

They are. That has not changed.
No matter where you go there is no guarantee your room has never had a dog occupant. I'm not sure about the whole dog in the bed complaint. The sheets are washed between guests.
I still have my fingers crossed about this one. Disney has not officially released any info (that I'm aware of). I booked my BB last week and was assured by the CM I spoke with that this was being discontinued -- as the room available to us was at POR, we wanted FQ. I told her my personal concerns with the dogs at the resort and she said Disney has no plans to continue this and assured me there would be no dogs (except for service animals) at the resort.
Yeah no the law prohibits Disney from mandating specific resorts and rooms for that matter where service animals can and can not stay.Prior to this policy, if you had a service animal, you could stay at any resort with that animal.

The ADA actually does prohibit this https://www.servicedogcertifications.org/service-dog-rules-for-staying-in-hotels/ "Under the ADA laws, the hotel cannot charge an extra fee for the service animal as they would another client with a pet. This also means you and your dog will be allowed in the public areas of the hotel, as well as having the right to a floor and room that are not normally designated for people traveling with pets."Yeah no the law prohibits Disney from mandating specific resorts and rooms for that matter where service animals can and can not sta
