Continental Weekend Fares-Why I shouldn't have looked!

For the first time that I've ever seen Continental is offering $149 RT this weekend from Cleveland to Orlando! To further torture myself I looked at the flight times, 7:20 am departures available with 3:50 pm returns! It's one of those Saturday to Tuesday deals.

Now I want to go! So what if I'm moving in less than 2 weeks. I deserve a vacation. I've been so stressed out and a weekend in Disney would be heaven to me! I've already looked at hotel rates, All Stars on Expedia $99/night.

Dizneenut, are you reading this? Go with me! Any other Cleveland people want to go with me? I'll just sneak away and call DH from Orlando! Actually he would say go for it, it's the wrath of my mom that I would have to endure.

Oh why did I look at the fares...........Why couldn't this have come up 3 weeks ago when DH was on vacation..........

For that price, I must just abandon my plans to drive down and fly instead. Last summer an airfare sale resulted in a last minute 5 day vacation to WDW over July 4th.

BTW - In the good old days, you could sometimes get a $99 roundtrip fare on Continental. When we flew down to Orlando last January, I found $112 per person fares. No wonder the airlines are broke.

Isn't that the pits? Just when you find a really great deal on air fare the timing is all wrong! Well, you can put your $400 per kid tax rebates into a special Disney Trip fund and start planning a fantastic trip for next year. You will be less stressed next year from DH's job change and the move and really enjoy it!!!
