Chip, being tired of people saying he has a chocolate chip nose, has now colored his nose red with a tourist's marker. Now the world will never be able to tell him apart from Dale.
In other news.... This picture was taken moments before Dale was kicked in the acorns by a child for what the child thought was an attempt to steal their pen. Dale was later seen though the fences lounging with ice in hand.....
Jealous of seeing the crowds at Star Wars Weekends, Dale tries his hand at using the Force to disasterous results.

Little Suzy's pen flies out of her hand and lands on Dale's nose who, well... freaks out.

What we do know however is that once again a young bystander threw Dale into a tizzy by calling him Chip, then telling him he is his favorite squirrel.
At 7:24 pm, Dale was witnessed having a nervous breakdown, where the only thing that would calm him down was to concentrate on an autograph seekers red pen. The young fan told Dale it was not a red pen, but a green pencil.
Chip is being rushed to a nearby hospital where he is said to be in critical condition.
For the last time folks, please take heed of the warning - Chipmunks have little sense of humor, and no gauge of sarcasm.
Fact: ever since Alvin & the Chipmunks' success, Disney has put a lot pressure on Chip & Dale's performances.
You wouldn't be putting that pen on your nose if you saw where Chip put it.

Dale caused quite a stir when he offered a surprise preview of Imagineering's new character pen dispenser technology.
One lucky kid thought he was getting the best autograph ever when Dale attempted to sign the book with his nose... but Dale sneezed instead and well... that kid got a bunch of kleenex and a new autograph book.
