Which wing would you choose north or south and which one is closer to the food court and monorails. which room and floor would give you the best veiw of magic kingdon in the wings.any advice is welcome never stayed their before,stay at cbr and realy enjoy thanks:thewave: :thewave:

The distance from the North and South wings to the monorail is about the same: from the fartherst room (closest to Bay Lake) it's about 5 minutes. Not long at tall. The South Garden Wing is closest to the pool, while the North is closest to the Fun Center snack bar and gameroom.

I'm staying at the CR too, in June, in a "garden water view." Does anyone have information about what "water" view means? How cool are the rooms facing Bay Lake or the canal? When I last stayed at the CR two years ago (a Tower room) I thought that those Bay Lake or canal views were peaceful and tranquil. Any reviews?

We stayed at the CR MANY times via Shades of Green when they were shut down for renovation. We absolutely LOVED it and the especially the garden water views.

We really liked the 1st floor because you could sit out on the patio and watch what was going on in the lake and then see the ducks walk by. We stayed there last July - we had a "mini" family reunion and they are from PA - well, and I didn't want to go to the parks - too crowded - so I stayed at the hotel. I sat by the pool or out on the patio and watched the water mice and parasailers. I had a nice breeze and shade from the cypress trees. That room faced the lake - right in the middle - we were in the wing closest to the MK.

The 2nd and 3rd floor rooms are fine but you have no balcony and only your foot - sideways - can fit on the "balcony".

The rooms directly on the lake are great for watching the water parade at night.

Then another room we had - that wasn't water view - faced Space Mountain and we could "partially"see the fireworks at night.

We enjoyed all our rooms at the CR and really had no "bad stays". They rooms are so big and roomy! Our relatives stayed in the Tower and their rooms were identical to ours in the Wing!

We liked the wing closest to the MK because it was great for walking back after the fireworks and also closest to the fast food restaurant plus the buses!!
