I was reading some reviews online and saw a LOT of complaints about elevators at the Contemporary. We currently have a reservation for a garden wing room in November. Anyone have experience with elevators at the contemporary? Did you find them an issue? Is it mainly an issue in the tower or will we still have issues in the garden wing?

Also, the same reviewers mentioned the beds are very hard at the contemporary. Any complaints? My husband will be in the room a lot and if the beds really are, "as soft as steel" (as one reviewer put it), then he will not be a happy camper. :worried:

We stay at Bay Lake and have never encountered any elevator problem(adult son in wheelchair) He has a large tilt in space chair and no problems going anywhere at the Contemporary including elevator. This includes the elevator after getting off the monorail. Can't speak for the wings but would imagine they are just fine. I really don't remember the comfort level of the beds so am guessing we didn't have a problem. Enjoy your visit.

Ive always found the beds to be very soft and springy. :)

Weve only had a problem with the elevators in the tower once. It was just as a conference had finished, it took about 20 minutes for the backlog to clear.
I wasn't happy as we had been swimming and they closed it off due to Lightening. So we were all wet waiting for the elevators, my son with shivering and no one would make room for him.

Im sure youll be fine :)
