Contemporary Wings being refurbished ?

I read .... Contemporary Resort's South Garden wing closed for refurbishment from May 30-October 31

Has the North Garden wing been or going to be refurbished ?

The wings cost less than the tower and may be a great alternative to be able to stay at a deluxe.

Does anyone know more about the wings ?

I stayed in the North wing rooms last June. They looked excatly like the Tower rooms (I stayed there two years ago). I tried the wing rooms because the tower can be loud with all the people around and the monrail going through. The sounds in the tower may have been due to the floor I was on. Anyway we were very happy in the North Wing. It was nice when the monrail was packed we just walked to the room. My only negative is that we had small children with us. Plus are room was the farest wing room from the tower. Kids complained thought they were walking miles.(only really about 8 minutes). Just ask for a room a little closer. It was a very peaceful room and the maid service was wonderful. Hope this helps

Good question, anyone know if the North Wings have been redone or they are planning to so so in future?

We have 2 standard rooms (wing rooms) reserved for a week in September. I wonder if they will keep us in the wing room or upgrade us?? We stayed at the CR 2 years ago and were in the South Wing. We had no problem staying there. I'm glad I booked back in July 2004 when I did. I had been trying to add another standard room to my ressie (CM Rate), but there are none available at the same rate my first 2 rooms are at. Maybe this is why.
