Is it still possible to use the walkway from Contemporary to MK in order to take a bus to a dining reservation at another resort or is the walkway restricted to park entry only?

No restrictions, anyone can use the path in either direction. If you’re heading from CR, you do have to go through temp check and security before you get to the bus area.

Using the MK bus plaza as a way to resort hop from CR is a common strategy.

Although keep MK park hours in mind these days. That can impact access.

In a word, yes. We even used it to take a bus to Riviera to take the Skyliner to Epcot when it was clear we weren't getting on an Epcot bus any time soon (long line, long wait between buses at CR). That was not a bad way to go BTW.

If MK closes at 6pm, what happens if someone tries to walk from CR to MK after 6:00? Will security turn you away? Will there even be security there after park closing?

An excellent question. Could also be asked of the GF walkway heading to MK. Will they open the swing bridge so nobody can pass?

Sort of piggy-backing on this one... I realize it would be long-ish by most people's standards (I live in NYC and walk everywhere, so most people's "long" is a walk to the store for me), but assuming they do not shut the path off in some way, would it be possible to use a combination of them to walk between BLT/Contemporary and GF? Thinking about maybe going to the Enchanted Rose one night (figuring the monorail stops shortly after park close) and would feel silly getting a Lyft just to basically go around the parking lot.

I would suspect you could, but it could even vary on who is working that night.

As far as I know, the GF walkway is not open yet. Once it's open, it sounds like you'd be able to walk from the Contemporary all the way to the Polynesian.

We are really going to need a TTC to Contemporary path. That would be a great jogging loop!
