Contemporary Towers?

My family and I are coming to Disney in July and have reserved our stay at CR. We requested a tower room looking at the MK. I was told that they cannot guarantee the MK view. Does anyone have any tips on how to ensure or improve our chances at getting the MK view. My daughter is 8 and this would make her stay to be able to look out at night and see the Castle and SM. Plus, I'd hate to pay CR rates for the lagoon view. I'd rather be paying prices for another resort with more to offer.

Your best bet at getting what you're looking for is to have the request noted on your reservation and then to politely reiterate the request again at check-in. Some people like to fax their requests 4 days prior to check in (that's when the room assigners assign the rooms but rumors have it that many of the resorts are not accepting faxes anymore because they are getting so many of them and it's a pain to match them all up to all the reservations)

If you note the request on your reservation..just call CRO and have it added, they usually do try their best to meet the requests..they just won't guarantee it and if you remind them of it at check in, they may be able to secure it for you if it's available to you and wasn't pre-assigned.

There's nothing you can do to guarantee MK view. If you've never stayed there, the rooms overlook the parking lot with MK to the right. We actually prefer the lagoon view.



You'd have a better chance for a MK view staying at Polynesian or GF.

Check in Early and tell them you are willing to wait of a Tower room facing the MK is not ready yet. We also prefer Bay view.

I agree with Conkozan. We have been several times and always requested a MK view (twice it was also for birthdays). Two times wewere told at check in (usually around 11am or noon) that there were no MK views available. I very politely met them know we'd be willing to wait for one and asked are they SURE....could they please check again in case something came up. Sure enough, something "comes up" while we're standing there adn we have gotten a Mk view every time. Be really nice and SMILE!
