Contemporary Tower view question

We're staying at the Contemporary, leaving in 4 days. Dh is already there for a conference, checked into the Contemporary today. I told him to request a tower room with a view of the MK. Well, he called me and said he's in the tower facing the lagoon and can see Epcot. Didn't say anything about the MK. He was calling on his cell phone to my cell phone and the signal was really bad. We ended up getting cut off, so I couldn't find out for sure the view he has. Any ideas?? Can you see Epcot from the Contemporary? Is he imagining things? Is he really in the tower? Are we going to be able to see anything from our room?

The Epcot view rooms are on the bay side of the tower and do not have a Magic Kingdom View. They overlook the bay, pool, and the entire Disney property (and, Central FL). You'll be able to see IllumiNations, Pleasure Island fireworks (if they have them), and basicly anything in the surrounding area depending how high you are up.

The "other side" of this view is of the parking lot which is the MK view. I believe it is considered not as desirable as the Bay Lake view. However, we always ask for this side because we love seeing MK. You can also see the Poly and GF and the monorail. This is from the tower building and not the garden wings. The garden wings are not quite high enough... only three floors.

We prefer the bay lake view - it's very relaxing.

I like the view you have also. We could see the pool, I could yell to the kids when they were at the top of the slide. Each night you can watch the Electrical Water Pageant from your balcony. Sounds swell, have a nice time. I loved the CR.

Thanks, everyone! A little disappointed about the MK view, but I think being able to see the EWP will be great!
