Can anyone tell me how far to walk from Contemporary to MK? Are the will call windows open later in the day?? I'm hoping to pick up our park tickets before dinner along with memory maker on our first night but it's all at will call. Help please :-)

I am a slow walker and it probably took me 10-15 minutes from the exit of MK back to Contemporary. Part of that was getting across street waiting for traffic to clear. I was also sort of watching the fireworks as I walked so was in no hurry.

It's about half a mile.

So 20mins one way? I'm just looking for an estimate how much time I need. Also how late are guest relations open?

If you will be at Contemporary for dinner, you can pick up your Will Call tickets at the Concierge desk in the Contemp lobby. You don't need to go to MK.

I'm not staying there so I was told I can't. And I need to pick up mm too

When my family stayed at BLT…it only took us like 10 mins to get to Magic Kingdom. Can't BEAT it!!! :thumbsup2

Um , I walk at a very brisk pace and it is more like 20 minutes. I've actually timed it. We were late to dinner once, and I was carefully watching the clock. RUNNING from the bus stop it took us over 15minutes. Plus keep in mind, when you are at MK, they don't let you enter through the side fence, except late at night. Most of the day you have to walk around and go through bag check.

The line at Will call can also be rather variable. Mid day, it will most likely be short. From 8am until about 11am, the wait in line may be longer.

But I suppose it depends what you consider the 'start' of your walk, and where you consider the 'end' If you start at Will Call or all the way over by the buses...and is your end the start of the CR parking lot, or Chef Mickey's? That restaurant is on the 4th floor. more or less you have to take the elevator. I've timed that too...somewhere between 2-4 minutes. Depending how many elevators are running that day. Wave is on the first floor.

If I drive to TTC do I have to pay to park??? Can I just pick up tickets and then leave??

If you are staying onsite, no. If offsite, then yes.

Reasonable people can disagree, but I still think 10-12 minutes is about right for the walk. All due respect to the PP. :goodvibes

1- Yes.

2- Why not go to DTD or one of the Water Parks to get your tickets?

I don't have the time on arrival night. I figured it would be quick to just get our tickets since we were going to dinner at contemporary. I guess I'll just pick them uo our first day...I'm not making special trips and wasting time...

This has been more of our experience. My start time is at the general area of transportation at the MK all the way to the actual CR building. And that's with two kids walking and a stroller. If we're meandering back, I'd say 15.

?? Not at all ... just answering the question asked... my flight arrives then we have dinner booked. I was hoping to squeeze picking up tickets before dinner somewhere conveniently located so I didn't have to stand in line the next day which will be the first park day. But if contemporary to MK is 20 mins each way plus a wait in line that's about an hour that I don't think I have with kids in tow. I may just have to suck it up and wait in line on our first morning. ...not the end of the world was just hoping for something convenient since we are already at a resort hotel....
