Contemporary to Hollywood Studios

What do you think is the best/easiest/fastest way to get to and from Hollywood Studios when staying at the Contemporary Resort? I was thinking we would do a Minnie Van.... but then I realized that since we are staying at a hotel on the monorail loop (for the first time) that it might be beneficial to take the monorail to Epcot and then the boat to HS (especially considering the extra walking that there is now with the construction). Is that making things too complicated? Any input would be great!

To take the monorail to EP and then the boat to HS you would have to enter EP and walk through FW and WS to the International Gateway entrance/exit and then catch the boat there. Can't be done if you want to get to HS for Rope Drop and would definitely require that you have park hopper tickets. Fastest is probably Minnie Van but the bus also would be better.

Fastest would be Minnie van/uber/lyft, but there is always bus transportation direct to HS. I wouldn't take the monorail if you are headed to HS, much more walking like the pp just mentioned.

Best to take the Disney park bus. The Contemporary (and Grand Floridian and Polynesian) have the regular buses direct to Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.

Bus and (regular) taxi tied for "easiest." Just walk out to the appropriate pick up point.

"Nobody" takes the monorail from Contemporary to Transportation & Ticket Center, changes to the monorail to Epcot, walks through Epcot, and continues walking (or taking the boat) from the other side of Epcot to DHS. If you want to joyride on the monorail you can also do that midday (when it is not crowded) on a different day.

Yeah, definitely don't go all the way to Epcot, walk through it, and take the boat. It will be multiple hours out of your day.
