Hi, has anyone stayed in a suite at the Contemporary with the SOG? We have an 8 person suite reserved and I wanted to see what it would look like. Leaving next Sat for 5 days at DL and then 10 days at DisneyWorld and couldn't be more excited. Thanks to these boards, I have learn so much and saved so much!!

We will be staying at the Contemporary Jan 1 to Jan 5 in the 8 person suite (thru SOG) The Shades of Green cm told me that the room is the delux garden room (on the Disney site) with an extra queen bed in it. Please post your experience as soon as you get back, I will be waiting to hear first hand how the suite is. Hope ya'll have a magical time!!!

Well, we leave in a week. 5 days at DL then 10 days at WDW. I'll let you know about the suite. We are pretty excited about the wonderful price!! But will miss staying the the SOG. They had 1 suite there and it was awesome. I hope the new suites are just as awesome.

We had two rooms at CR (through SOG) last April, and were upgraded to a suite upon check-in. If this is the suite you have (slept 8) you will be THRILLED!!!

It was at the very end of the wing, overlooking Bay lake (Out one bedroom) the docks and beach off of the TWO balconies, and the pool and tower rooms. As the Unofficial Guide says: we could spit off the balcony right into the lake! We saw the water parade every night off of the balcony.

It is a "lock-out" style suite, so each room had a bathroom. The sleeping arrangements were as follows: Bedroom one: Queen and single sleeper/sofa. Bedroom two: King bed, full-size pull-out sofabed, single sleeper/sofa. Closet space was okay. Two separate entrances (good if you are splitting up at night). The lock-out bedroom had a small table, couple of chairs. The larger room had a kitchen size table (seated 6), sofa and TV seating area, sofa and chairs TV seating area. Total of 3 TV's. (Did I explain that clearly? We had two living rooms in one HUGE room) Fridge was no-cost, and we had turndown service.

All this for the bargain price of two SOG ressies!!!! LOL!!!! Please ask if there is anything else I can tell you. I'm hoping you get this suite---it was AWESOME!

Wow. It sounds like what I was told. It sounds awesome. I knew they were on the end, nut wasn't sure if we would be able to see the water show. I can't wait. Thanks so much for the info

We stayed in suite 8308 on third floor this past June - boy were we spoiled!! It was at the end of the building and there is a stairway right there - quick and easy access. Don't know if the suites at SOG will keep us happy now.
