We're heading to the CR in about a week and a half and I'm beginning to think about packing and other stuff. I have a few ??s...

Does the GW rooms have a hair dryer in them? Not sure if I should pack mine.

Can I request turn down service in a GW room? Of course I would leave a tip for their troubles.


And where could I purchase a birthday cake from? Perferably some place that would deliever.

The only thing I can definitely help you with is the hair dryers. Yes, they have them in the garden wings.

As far as turn down service, I know that they automatically do it for the suites, but not sure if you can ask for it in the regular rooms. You'll have to call the front desk or housekeeping upon arrival.

Birthday cake - not too sure. I'd ask upon arrival also.

Last time we needed a cake in disney world we went through the food and beverage manager at the WL where we were staying. This worked great for us. Might be a good idea to call before you go and just check with them what their policy is. There might be a better way now. This was 2 years ago. Try calling CR direct and they will transfer you to food and beverage.

I agree with the previous post abut the Bday cake
we needed one when we were there 2 years ago at the CR we called in advance and set it up we told them what we wanted and they made it it was great !
