Contemporary Rooms vs Dolphin Rooms

I've seen on different sites both the rooms of Contemporary and Dolphin - The Contemporary rooms are ugly! compared to the Dolphin!

In Photos, the Contemporary rooms do look pretty ugly, but in person, they are just bright and cheery. What is jarring in a photo, works in person. Just my opinion.

Also, the Dolphin rooms are much smaller - and the Contemporary rooms have two queen beds plus a twin sized day bed. My kids would rather stay at the Contemporary than the Dolphin anyday. It is Mickey's hotel, after all!

Hello! I have to agree with CRCrazy The rooms in the Contemporary look ugly in pictures, but in reality the rooms are quite spacious and bright. The dolphin's rooms also tend to be smaller than the Contemporary's. Just my opinion I think is either resort is pretty good

Swan rooms are 340 sq. feet

Contemp. rooms are 436 sq. feet

I've never been in any of the rooms in either resort but I probably stand a better chance of a cheaper rate at the Contemp. because I'm not a teacher, nurse, or gov. worker. Right now on Mousesavers it is showing $149 for a room at the Contemp. for Jan/Feb. , I think. That's pretty good.

Plus, for our family of five, we would need a roll-a-way at the Swan which would be $25 extra a night AND there is a resort fee of $8 a night.

Then when you figure you are in a bigger room AND on the monorail, well..... I think I could put up with the unusual decor.

But if you want an epcot resort and you are a nurse, teacher or gov. worker........you might opt for the Swan/Dolphin.

I can't remember what the code was for Contemp. because I wasn't looking for that one.....I was looking for WL, ofcourse.
