Contemporary Resort gift shop makes good -- twice!

Just wanted to rave a bit about the Contemporary Resort gift shop -- not sure which one, can someone tell me? It's the larger one that sells a little bit of everything, including candy.

About mid-way through our trip, unbeknownst to me, my DH had bought me a beautiful wooden castle picture frame to surprise me with on our last day. He had it sent to our resort, which we'd been doing all week from various gift shops, so every day we'd have a new package to look forward to in our resort gift shop.

He kept checking, but the package never arrived, so he finally called the gift shop and talked to the manager there. The manager apologized profusely and promised to bring the package to AKL himself, which he did that very day (and the front desk staff at AKL said it was the manager who brought it too!). We were totally impressed with this!

Guess what just came in the mail the other day! Another picture frame from the Contemporary gift shop! So, even if he hadn't delivered it to our resort we would have received one in the mail anyway. Way to make good!

So today we have to see what we need to do to return it to them, because we're not just going to keep it, as I'm sure it was a mistake. I just hope we don't have to pay a lot in shipping...

Marseeya ~ Make sure you call the gift shop and speak with the manager BEFORE you send it back. He may have sent it purposely and will want you to keep it. If he wants you to send it back I would bet that he'll be willing to pay the shipping for you under the circumstances.

DD bought a Cinderella snow globe at MK, which arrived at the CR gift shop without Cindy's head. We tried to get them to return it and get us a new one, but they didn't get that done before we left. They said they'd ship us one. After we'd been home 10 days, no Cindy snow globe, so I called and they said they couldn't tell if one had already been shipped, so they would ship one. The CM on the phone said that if we got two, not to bother to ship one back, "Just donate the extra to charity or something."

DD DID receive two of them, so now we're wondering who to surprise with a Cinderella snow globe!
