Contemporary Pool Bar

Hi Everyone! Im wondering if anyone has any knowledge if Contemporary's pool bar has more on the menu than just burger, hot dog and chicken fingers? We've stayed at Poly, Beach Club and Caribbean beach the last few times in the summer and have ended up relaxing by the pool and just ordering food from the pools bar at each resort. There has always seemed to be much more creative food than just that at the other resorts. We have kind of grown to love these days and now upon looking at the actually menu before getting there it kinda has me nervous. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm actually surprised they offer hot foot (beyond a pretzel) at the Sand Bar.

What I find somewhat amusing, given the poor menu at Sand Bar, is that you can rent a poolside Cabana that comes with beverages & a fruit tray....and the ability for additional private dining:

The good news, kinda', is that The Wave is really not far away from the Contemporary Pool. So if y'all want a 'proper' lunch, that'd be my suggestion. Of course, you can go upstairs in the Contemporary to the Contemporary for a qwik service meal.....which a kind person might deliver to their family at the pool.

The poor Sand Bar.

While the menu isn’t as exciting as other deluxe resort pool bars, I’ve always thought the food there was very good. Love the quesadillas.

We had lunch there twice on our last trip. They had a really good chicken wrap, a quesadilla and the burgers and chicken strips were great. They also have a really, really good craft beer selection!

I think they beef up the menu in the summer months. Check it again closer to your trip.

If you think that is limited you should see what they have next door at the BLT pool. Those hot dogs that cook in front of you, lol.

We skipped the sand bar and ate from the food court. They should just make it a rapid refill station and be done with it.

We get food from Contempo Cafe and bring it to the pool.
