Contemporary has gone back to their Resort mugs

I was just down in the Food & Fun Center and I saw that they have gone back to selling the Contemporary logo mugs. However I asked a Cast Member who was able to get me a YOAMD mug from the back as a last minute souvenir, since my family and I are driving back home to Toronto tomorrow.

Why would they go back to the resort mugs and not continue to use the new YOMD mugs?

The reason why they went back to selling the Contemporary mugs is they are trying to sell them out of stock, so obviously they had some left.
